Galleries
Mikkeli Centre of Photography consists of four showrooms which will be used in a flexible way for different purposes: Sali (58 m2), Studio (19 m2), gallery for summer exhibitions (20 m2) ja newspaper Länsi-Savo´s Collection.
Summer exhibition will be in all of the three gallery rooms, offering a total area of 97 m2.
During the spring and autumn seasons we will have two separate shows: one in Sali, the other in Studio.
Our annual season consists of seven changing exhibitions.
The Centre has made co-operation with the newspaper Länsi-Savo. Ikiliikkuja - Perpetuum Mobile, the 120th anniversary exhibition of Länsi-Savo consists of over 100 framed photographs which all are going to be permanently on display as the Länsi-Savo Collection.
The Mikkeli Artists’ Association has it´s own gallery (20 m2). The season will be the same as the Centre’s.
